Overview

Every month, more than 30,000 emails hit Prism Logistix's inboxes - and the entire business was buried inside them. Opportunity was never the problem. Seeing it, and pricing it fast enough to win, was. This is how Prism turned a noisy inbox and pricing locked in a few people's heads into a shared company brain - tripling daily bids and lifting bid-to-book from 8% to 25%.

"We weren't losing loads on price. We were losing them on speed. The knowledge to win was already in the building - it was just locked in a few people's heads, buried under 30,000 emails a month." - David Radom, CEO, Prism Logistix

Company background

Prism Logistix is a $100M truckload brokerage. It was formed when Cambridge Capital acquired and merged two brokerages - Everest Transportation Systems and Simple Logistics - and rebranded the combined company as Prism Logistix. Today it moves FTL, LTL, drayage, hazmat, cold chain, and expedited freight across the country.

Like most brokerages at that scale, Prism ran on people - sharp reps, deep carrier relationships, and pricing instinct built over years. That instinct was its edge. It was also its ceiling.

The challenge

Prism wanted to scale to its next level, but the pricing engine underneath the business was human - and it couldn't see or serve the full funnel. With tens of thousands of emails a month, no one could say how many were real opportunities, how many actually got priced, or how many quietly expired. To grow, Prism first needed to know exactly where it was losing freight.

The evaluation

Before promising anything, we set out to prove Mylo could actually move Prism's numbers. We connected to all of Prism's data pipelines - the TMS, the mailboxes, and their entire technical stack - and started measuring the KPIs that decide whether a brokerage can scale its bidding:

  1. How many opportunities they receive a month
  2. How many are real opportunities waiting to be priced
  3. What share we actually bid on - versus missed
  4. The conversion rate from bid to booked

After watching the data for three weeks, Prism's real constraints were clear:

  1. Tribal knowledge. Pricing rules that only specific people knew slowed everything down - and some lanes couldn't be quoted at all without them.
  2. Noisy mailboxes. 30,000+ emails a month, with no clean filter separating a real opportunity from the noise.
  3. Off-hours opportunities. A large share of requests arrived outside working hours and sat 1-2 days before anyone priced them - long after the freight was gone.

The path forward was obvious: launch the ultimate pricing agent - one that can price any opportunity in 30 seconds or less, at any hour.

The solution

We didn't bolt an AI onto the old process. We rebuilt Prism's pricing around a single source of truth - the company brain - and pointed autonomous agents at it.

  1. Connected every source. All of Prism's mailboxes and customer load boards were wired into Mylo, so every incoming opportunity landed in one place.
  2. Integrated the TMS. We pulled Prism's historical business and customer base out of Revenova, giving the system context on lanes, accounts, and what Prism had actually moved before.
  3. Integrated pricing APIs. Live market data (Greenscreens, DAT RateView) was connected so every load is priced against the market, not a stale spreadsheet.
  4. Built the company brain. Historical business, customer context, and live rates fused into one model of how Prism prices - turning tribal knowledge into a shared asset.
  5. Launched the AI agents. Autonomous agents read every incoming email, decide what's a real opportunity, and price it from the brain - accurately, in seconds, at any hour.
  6. Closed the loop. The brain scans every submitted bid and whether Prism won or lost it, then feeds that back in. The engine sharpens with every load.

The results

With the pricing agent live, Prism could finally see its whole funnel - and act on all of it.

  • Tripled the number of bids Prism submits per day.
  • Bid-to-book conversion climbed from 8% to 25% - one in four bids now turns into booked freight.
  • $1M+ in freight booked through Mylo.

"Pricing used to be our bottleneck. Now it's an asset - we bid three times as many loads a day, and one in four of them books." - David Radom, CEO, Prism Logistix

What's next

The brain compounds. Every bid it scans, every win and loss it records, makes the next quote sharper - so Prism's edge widens the more freight it moves. From here, the same engine extends to more lanes, more accounts, and more of the 30,000 monthly opportunities that used to slip by unseen.
